Ready to redefine ageing?

Hi Yeu Zoners! Welcome back to Rise + Thrive. There are quite some newbies here so let us introduce ourselves. We’re Steve and Rachael, father-daughter-duo and co-founders of Yeu. We started this journey with the belief that the years that pass are simply markers of a life well-lived, not barriers to your vitality.

Our why 💜

At Yeu, we believe that life after 50 should be just as dynamic and fulfilling as the decades before. But we know that as you grow older, it’s easy to feel like the odds are stacked against you and you don’t have the same energy you used to. Right?

Your skin and hair change, mobility can become a challenge, and cognitive sharpness may begin to fade. These aren’t just superficial concerns—they’re the result of the natural ageing process and cellular dysfunction. Research shows that by age 60, about 30% of muscle mass and strength can be lost compared to peak levels in youth, impacting mobility and daily activities.

This cellular decline can also affect cognitive function, with studies indicating that up to 20% of older adults experience mild cognitive impairment. Addressing these changes at the cellular level is crucial for maintaining overall health and vitality as you grow older.

That’s why we created Yeu. Our original formula is rooted in science and designed to help you not just endure ageing, but thrive through it. We’re here to support you on your cellular health journey—so you can continue doing what you love, without compromise.

Science-backed fitness insights for longevity 🏞️

Hitting key fitness benchmarks is crucial for longevity, and a recent guide highlights 10 essential tests to keep your body in top shape as you grow older. A day in the forest boosts your immune system for a week 🌲

A recent study has shown that just a single-day trip to a forest can significantly boost your immune system. Researchers found that spending a day walking in a forest increased cell activity and the production of anti-cancer proteins in healthy men.

Lift your way to longevity 🏋️‍♂️

Analysing data from nearly 100,000 adults over an average of 9.6 years, researchers found that those who engaged in weightlifting had a 20–25% lower risk of all-cause mortality compared to non-weightlifters. Importantly, the benefits were observed even after accounting for other forms of exercise like aerobic activity. With only 16% of adults lifting weights regularly, these findings highlight the powerful role that weightlifting can play in enhancing longevity.

Exercise isn't just about getting fit—it's about safeguarding your cells for the long run 🔬

A study from McMaster University reveals how exercise plays a crucial role in maintaining mitochondrial health as we grow older. By keeping these 'powerhouses of the cell' in top shape, we can combat oxidative damage, inflammation, and the overall ageing process. So, lace up those sneakers and get moving; your mitochondria—and your future self—will thank you!
