Our approach and responsibility statement

The stand-up pouch packaging we are launching with is made with mono-material PE film, which is fully recyclable. It also has a high barrier treatment so we can guarantee protection of Yeu capsules from oxygen and moisture.

During Yeu’s development phase, our team explored many different product packaging options and styles. 

From the get-go, we knew we needed our packaging to be as minimal and environmentally friendly as possible, without compromising the integrity of our product, and also providing maximum protection whilst being mailed to our customers.

Achieving this necessitated many re-thinks and iterations about how we could meet these needs in a way that is aligned with our mission and ambition.

Our goal is to use no-compromise plant-based packaging that is compostable, and economically viable.

We know we must go much further, and we will do this. Making unattainable and meaningless promises, that are little more than greenwashing is not our style.
